What Addons Do I Need to Survive?

You’re going to run into all walks of life out there.  If you haven’t, go ahead and hop into the LFG dungeon finder a few times and you’ll see exactly what I mean.  You’ll know when you’ve got a tank that knows what’s going on.  He didn’t just “happen” to target the mob that he had the least amount of threat on, by accident.  If a tank forgets to mark a group with the traditional “Skull, X, Square” set, and a dps is targeting all the same targets that the tank is, I highly doubt it’s just by chance.  The reason that things can run together so much smoother is because of addons.

I recently heard a raid member say these exact words:  “I don’t have one single addon.  I run a completely stock UI.”

What does that say to me?  That tells me that I just found the person that is most likely going to wipe this raid….repeatedly.

I also was tanking a dungeon recently and asked one of the dps if he was running omen threat meter (which I’ll discuss later).  He replied “Sorry noob, I don’t use ‘crutches’”.  How in the world is Omen a “crutch”?!?!  I’ll dive into that later as well.

So what you might be thinking now is “Alright Twizz, what addons do I need to survive?  There are SO many out there and there are a lot that are so customizable that it’s almost too much of a pain to try to work with them.”  The list is actually pretty short and sweet!  All of these can be downloaded from www.curse.com and I HIGHLY recommend downloading the Curse client.  It makes seeing available addons and currently installed addons easy to see and work with.  NOTE: THESE ARE ALL BASED ON MY PERSONAL OPINION.  EVERYONE HAS THEIR OWN NICHE!

1)  Deadly Boss Mods (or DBM for short) or possibly Bigwigs (an addon that is very similar to DBM).  This is pretty much a mandatory addon if you plan on doing any raiding.  It gives you timers on boss abilities and notifications when a specific person is targeted for a bosses spell and the raid then needs to work around that situation.  To dumb that down a little bit, in a fight a boss may prepare to cast a spell on a random party member.  Both of these addons will put a marker of some type (Skull, X, Square etc.) over the player that is about to be targeted.  Everyone can stack on that player to dissipate the damage or stay away from that player as he may have some kind of debuff that can hurt other raid members.  It’s an easy visual marker so you can see what’s going on.  It will also help show the raid if a member doesn’t know what they are doing.  If they are targeted by the boss, and marked by DBM, and they don’t do what they are supposed to do, you can easily see why the raid wiped and maybe re-explain the fight to get everyone on the same page.

2)  CALLING ALL HEALERS! You guys have a TON of options at your fingertips.  All of these addons PRETTY MUCH do the same thing.  The only differences are subtle options as well as how it looks on your screen.  Depending on how your UI is set up, one addon may fit better than another.  I recommend Vuhdo, Healbot, or Grid.  I personally use Vuhdo and that’s simply because I like the layout.  When you have a HoT (Heal over time) on a target, it will give you a small symbol that represents that you have that current HoT rolling on that target.  It will then give you a countdown you can watch so you can refresh that hot or plan your next healing spell according to when that’s going to give its final tick.  Healbot is the same way except it will display actual icons of your spells.  If you have a Rejuv going on a target or an earthshield, it will show the little icons next to the targets names making it easily identifiable as to what EXACTLY is happening with the target.  Very nice.  I haven’t used Grid very much so I can’t say whether or not it’s the way to go.  I know a lot of people that use it and swear by it!  Again, all of these recommendations do virtually the same thing.  It all comes down to how you want to see it on your screen!

3)  Omen Threat Meter.  In my personal opinion, as a tank, this is a MUST.  There is nothing more aggravating than having to chase down a target because some stupid DPS has decided to blow every cooldown he or she has at the start of a fight and pump out as much damage as they so they can feel warm and fuzzy over a recount number.  Something to keep in mind.  Warriors and Druids have this thing called Rage.  It costs rage to use threat generating abilities.  It will normally take a tank about 2 seconds to generate enough rage and use an ability that will establish the threat bar and keep him or her at the top.  Omen shows you this bar….literally.  It’s very lightweight with almost no configuring to be done.  You (as a DPS) target a mob.  It will show you numerically how much threat you, the tank and others have on that mob.  If you’re getting ready to pull aggro (or make the number on your bar higher than the tanks), you can either lay off a little bit or use an aggro reducing ability.  Let me spell it out for you this way.  No one cares about your dps number.  Only you do.  If you’re dead because you pulled off the tank A) you deserve it and B) You’re almighty DPS recount number is going to plummet severely.  So what good does that do anyone?  As I stated above, someone referred to Omen as a “Crutch”.  In my personal opinion, a crutch (for hardcore players) is something to the effect of a cooldown or DOT timer.  Something you can easily look at and know it’s time to refresh.  NOTE: DON’T CONFUSE MY CRUTCH DEFINITION WITH ANY OF THE HEALING ADDONS ABOVE!  Crutch addons are a luxury only.

4)  Tidy Plates/Threat Plates is a GREAT tanking addon.  It’s very customizable but you have to tank for a little while before you figure out what exactly you want to change about the appearance or how it works.  The basics of it are this:  You run into a pack of 4 mobs.  All of them have 1 color health bar over their heads.  As long as that never changes, you have threat on all of them.  You can set it to where if you start losing a mob, the colored nameplate above his head starts getting bigger.  This is done so you can click that nameplate easier, and put more threat out to that specific target.  It’s very helpful in those instances where a DPS decides to pick whatever target he or she wants and lets loose on it.  You can also combine abilites with it so if you lose threat on a  mob, a click of their nameplate will automatically taunt them back to you.  You’ll then already have that mob targeted and can regain control.

5)  The dreaded Recount.  Now, this is strictly for additional information.  It can be helpful in a lot more ways than what people use it for.  This addon will show you your DPS (or Damage Per Second).  It’s the number that everyone gets all hot in the pants over.  Some features that others may not know about or remember to explore are: Interrupt counts, Specific player rotation, CC’s, and many more.  THAT is a useful tool for making sure that someone is doing their job when they are supposed to be and the rotation information is good in case you have that mage who is geared to the teeth but can’t manage to pull over 3K dps.  You can see in a pie graph form, the majority of the abilities they are using and how much they are using it.  If you see 100% frostbolt coming from that mage, you’ll be able to identify the problem right then and there.  Again, this is not a mandatory addon for raiding per say, however it can solve problems quickly and give you a good idea (fairly quickly) of how your dungeon group or raid is going to do.

These 4 Addon recommendations above are basically what you’re going to see in the average raid UI.  There are many people that you’ll see using an addon called Bartender.  That allows you to move virtually everything on your screen around.  This is good for “clickers”.  What’s a clicker you ask?  It’s someone that does JUST that!  They click all the spells on their screen.  So being able to move the bars around to make your clicking experience easier is the best thing to hit the market ever!  I personally have a Razer Naga mouse that has a BUNCH of buttons on it.  I simply push the buttons on my mouse to use my abilities and all my attacks are basically made with my thumb.  It’s like a muscle memory thing and it works for me.  Other addons people enjoy are as follows:

X-perl Unit Frams – Revamps the UI a little bit and allows your to move your in game character bar around as well as the target and party members bars.  You can also see your targets target just to make sure that your tank is being targeted in an encounter.  If that changes….LOOK OUT!

Bagnon- why sift through all those bags trying to find where you have your hypnotic dust!?!?  Bagnon makes all your bags….one BIG bag!  I keep all my things assorted by rows.  Top row is all my flasks, etc.  Next down is my buff food.  Next is enchanting mats.  You get the idea.

Postal – Don’t you love having to click (what feels like) 50 times just to get all the gold and expired auctions you have coming to you?  Postal takes care of ALL of that.  1 click and it puts everything straight into your bags.  Less time at the mailbox means more time outside seeing the game and bettering your toon!  Time management FTW!

As far as class specific addons, there are SO many REALLY helpful ones out there.  Not sure of your rotation?  Here’s a few that I found that put a box on your screen with the picture of the next spell you should use.  It’s great because it helps you learn your rotation and make you realize WHY it’s better to use one spell over another.  Unfortunately there’s nothing in this line for healers since it’s completely impossible for an addon to detect incoming damage on a tank and calculate the mana cost and cast time for a heal.  These are all for DPS and I’ve used them and learned a lot!

1)  Feral Druid – Feral by Night

2)  Enhancement Shaman – Shock and Awe

3)  Balance Druid – Boomkinator

4)  Ret Pally – Retribution FCFS Helper

5)  Assassination Rogue – Mutilate

I’m certain there are more out there however these are the ones that I’ve messed with the most and had a great learning experience when it came to playing a new spec.  If you surf www.curse.com you’ll see thousands of addons.  This little blog was simply meant to get you on your way to customizing the game and playing it the way you want to play it.

Trolling for Morons

Trolling has got to be one of the most well known problems with WoW.  Some people probably think that WoW is spilt into 3 parts: Questing, Raiding and Trolling.  So as I was driving home the other day I had a thought pop into my head.  Are we using the word “trolling” in the right sense?  I mean, I understand that concept of being a “troll”.  You’re an ugly little mother that lives under a bridge and your main goal in life is to make it impossible for people to cross your bridge!  I get that.  But, there’s another “trolling” that fits this genre perfectly.  As you’re sitting in your fishing boat on that warm summer day, it’s easy to do a lot of trolling.  No, I don’t mean you yell insults about the mothers of the people in the boat across the way.  I mean, you slowly troll down the lake or river while casting your bait out patiently waiting for a biter.  It’s no different than sitting in trade chat and slowly watching the words scroll up your screen and occasionally tossing your bait out to see if someone will bite!  So yeah, I can’t help but wonder if that was how “trolling” was originally meant, or if some stupid moron who can’t think outside the box thought to himself “he’s talking about me being this ugly thing that lives under a bridge!  I’m gonna call everyone a troll!”.  Is this of HUGE importance in the World of Warcraft?  Not even remotely.  But sometimes things just pop into your head like that first kernel of popcorn popping and it makes ya think!

So being as that I’m still a little undecided as to which “trolling” type I interpret it to be, lets talk about the actual art of it briefly.  There are trolls who are VERY good at what they do and ones that not only reveal that their true age is still in single digits, but more often they have no clue what they are talking about.  Here’s a perfect example that I read this morning from www.mmo-champion.com

http://blue.mmo-champion.com/topic/169694/blizzard-dnt-read-this-forum-proof

Here’s the actual text:

well look at the first page ppl posting problems and suggestions etc any blue posters no cos there all PVE loving dumbasses who cant even sort PVP out why not make a wow game just for PVP and one for Raiding,

sick of the lack of love PVPer’s get and dnt say we got rated bg’s cos there fail like in game voice chat and old LFD tool

SORT PVP OUT BLIZZ OH I FORGOT ALL YOU CARE ABOUT IS YOUR PRECIOUS $$$ blizzard are going down hill since they signed with craptivision

Is this considered a “trolling” thread in your opinion?

The first thing that I see is the atrocious spelling, grammar and sever lack of punctuation.  A) How do you expect ANYONE to take you seriously when you type and spell like a sub-grade moron?  B) Do you HONESTLY think that anything you’re saying is actually true?  Blizzard is SO in love with PVE and couldn’t care less about you and your world of PVP?  It’s people like you, “Bolvar” or “Ballhair” as I’m going to refer to him as from now on, that make me lose complete and total faith in the human race.  One of two things has happened here.  Either you got up to a 4th grade level of education and decided to punch out and take on the world, or you’re getting ready for your summer vacation before actually starting 5th grade.  In which case, I can completely see why you spell and disregard punctuation.  Maybe you should look at hitting 4th grade one more time for good measure.  Lastly, shame on your parents for 3 reasons:

1) They procreated and gave birth to you.  WHICH, Jack Daniels can always have a hand in that.

2) Not monitoring the fact that obviously you spend too much time on a video game and not enough in….oh…you know…being an intelligent human being.

3) Not monitoring your school work and reviewing your report card because I guarantee if you write like that in school, it’s game over.  And if you don’t write like that in school, why is it alright to do it on a public forum and go that extra mile to make yourself look like a window licker?

In conclusion, hopefully I’ve given you something to think about even for a brief second.  As always, comments are appreciated.

Can We Really Blame the Noobs?

“God!  What a Noob!”.  You’ve heard it.  I’ve heard it.  Half the people who read this will probably have said it.  The other half will say it eventually.  Personally I think it’s one of the most degrading words that’s come out of WoW.  There’s no finer way to make someone feel about an inch and a half tall than by throwing out the “N” word.  I have to say though that WE ALL had our first time logging in and seeing that first quest giver standing in front of us with a big exclamation point above their head.  Nobody started out under “Leet” status regardless of what they may say.  I can remember when I first started playing WoW.  It was somewhere in the middle of Burning Crusade.  I started a warlock and ended up accidentally finding a really awesome guild.  Actually, my wife was approached by the GM and was asked to join initially.  I just followed on her coat tails.  ANYWAYS, the guild consisted of maybe 65-70 people.  The GM and his wife both played hunters and they attached themselves to my wife and I and basically leveled us up via dungeons.  Later I found out that that was NOT the way to do that.  I ended up getting to the early 60′s and was trying to figure out a character that I had never really quested with before, in a game I had never played before.  So I ended up doing some pretty awesome things.  I had the fiery enchant on my staff which was pretty awesome.  At the time, I had no clue that enchanting could really help boost your stats.  I thought it was a way to visually customize my character.  And MAN, did I look sweet.  I ended up finding out that one of my good friends played WoW and he did some serious revamping and retraining with me.  Crisis averted.

But lets say that the majority of these people are in game by themselves.  The only “friends” they have are guild mates which they have no real life ties to.  I’d be willing to bet that a lot of them are afraid to ask questions that might make them look stupid or “Noobish”.  That’s why I can remember asking my guild (back in the day) if anyone wanted to tank a level 62 dungeon. When the warrior showed up, he had spell power on his shield and mana regen on his mail gloves.  This guy was afraid to ask the questions he needed to.  So where do you turn?  What do you do as THAT guy?  Yes, you can go to forums and do some research.  Do we really want to talk about the vile cesspool the Blizzard forums have become?  I’d rather ask if a mage is supposed to stack agility in trade chat than post something on there.  I’d take less abuse.  It wasn’t until the middle of WOTLK that I found out about podcasts.  Podcasts are THE BEST way to keep up on what’s going on in WoW.  They cover an array of topics ranging from the new features being implemented in upcoming patches/expansions, guidance on how to make sure you’re playing your class correctly and some of them offer tips and techniques to make you think about your play style and how to maximize your effectiveness in game.  I really wish I had found these podcasts earlier in my WoW playing career.  It would have saved me some heartache and pain.

Here are a list of the podcasts that I listen to and a little bit about them:

The Guardian Tank podcast: This podcast is hosted by Eldoric “the guardian tank” and it’s one of THE MOST informational and educational podcasts you can listen to in regards to tanking.  He covers everything from boss strategies to gemming and reforging to make sure that you’re exactly where you need to be to tank your best.   www.happynerdmedia.com

The Instance:  This podcast has been around the longest and probably has the highest percentage of listeners for the WoW genre.  Scott Johnson, Willie Dills and Turpster are the 3 exciting hosts you’ll be listening to!  They concentrate more on the upcoming things that are happening in WoW and then they give their opinions on the subjects.  It’s a great way to learn how to be “in the know” with any changes that Blizzard is making.  www.theinstance.net

Stopcast:  Stopcast is a podcast that is hosted by 2 guys from Minnesota named Ryar and Jeadin.  If you’re looking for a podcast that covers a birds eye view of what their guild is doing as well as upcoming Blizzard and WoW content, this is the place for you to be!  They take the time to let everyone know what’s been going on in the life of the guild (Boss’s downed, etc.) and then they cover upcoming content on top of a few other outside topics that work their way in.  They make you feel like you’re one of the guys sitting around the table talking about your favorite video game!  They cover some of their real life adventures which are remarkably hilarious as well.  It’s a blast to listen to and a great way to hear about the struggles that a raiding guild goes through on top of the crowning victories that they experience.  www.stopcast.net  THIS IS AN EXPLICIT RATED PODCAST.  YOU’VE BEEN WARNED!

Outlandish Podcast: This is another great podcast that covers a WIDE variety of everything WoW related.  They also talk about upcoming news and events as Blizzard releases them.  They also talk more about what they have done in game and some of the things that they have noticed in their adventures.  Have you ever been standing in your main factions city and then you decide to go out and do something just to mess around?  That is the kind of stuff they talk about and they come up with some of the most innovative and awesome things that most people wouldn’t think of.  Especially during world events and whatnot.  After I listen to Outlandish, I usually always say to myself “Man, I’ve got to try that next time I log on!”.  Definitely worth the listen.  www.outlandishpodcast.com THIS IS AN EXPLICIT RATED PODCAST.  YOU’VE BEEN WARNED!

RPG Weekly:  This is a very informational podcast!  The hosts are Jeff and Nick and they do a very good job at keeping the news interesting and covering lots in a small amount of time.  They normally do a WoW portion of the show (since it IS an MMORPG) but if you like to play other types of RPG’s this is a GREAT source of what’s coming out.  They are RPG guinea pigs and they aren’t afraid to let everyone know the likes and dislikes of everything in the RPG market past, present and future!  www.rpgweekly.com

Ventchat: Ok.   Ventchat is……well….it’s a different cup of tea.  It has got to be one of the most entertaining podcasts out there.  The 4 hosts are Fen, Esta, Sauce, and Turdhat.  Yes, you read it right.  There’s a guy named Turdhat on the show.  Towards the beginning of each show they talk a lot about what they did in WoW the past week and their thoughts on some of the upcoming things that Blizzard is ready to release.  There is an actual raiding segment on there where people can write in and have their raiding questions answered by Esta and Sauce.  The body and soul of this podcast is the fans.  The fans combined with the hosts make a deadly and hilarious combination.  Although only a brief part of it is actually WoW related, the rest of it covers everything under the sun and you never know what you’re going to hear next.  If you are a WoW player, but enjoys sitting around the table with the guys drinking beer and making jokes, THIS is the podcast for you!  www.ventchat.com THIS IS AN EXPLICIT RATED PODCAST.  YOU’VE BEEN WARNED!

There are several other podcasts that I have on deck that I have not gotten a chance to listen to.  They are: Slash 2 podcast, 5 WoW things, All Things Azeroth and The Mana Cooler.  There are TONS more out there and feel free to go on the hunt for yourself and see what you can find!

So I’m sure you’re saying “Twizz, great plug for all those podcasts.  What’s your point?”  The point is this:  A lot of players are uneducated that any of these types of things exist.  They have no clue what a podcast is or the fact that there are even podcasts out there pertaining to WoW.  People sometimes can’t see the forest because of all the trees sometimes.  For example: Just before Cataclysm launched we were all anxious for the BIG pre-cata patch.  The “grab your water wings and head to Thousand Needles” patch.  There was a player in the guild I used to be in that said “I haven’t seen anything on the official forums that says the patch is dropping tomorrow so you guys are all wrong.”  I asked him to go to www.mmo-champion.com and see what he thought.  He told me up front that he had never been to that site and it was probably a site that was going to hack his WoW account.  Yeah, you guessed it…../facepalm.  The next day, the patch hit and I sent him a whisper asking him if he wanted to borrow my rubber ducky in thousand needles or if he had his own.  Needless to say, I got no response.

Moral of the story:  Before you go throwing around the “N” word, think about it.  Are you ahead of the game because you listen to podcasts and visit mmo-champion and are at the forefront of what’s happening in the game?  Or is this person that’s doing something extremely stupid or fighting a bad fight ignorant of all the utilities at his or her fingertips?

Here’s my tip:  Next time you’re in a dungeon and that arms warrior needs on the agility trinket you’ve been farming for weeks for, simply ask him “Do you ever listen to podcasts?”

Time to talk Patch 4.1

So here’s the deal.  There’s a million WoW blogs out there.  You’ll find some that give you good information that you can run with and then go to the next site that COMPLETELY contradicts what you just read and had worked out in your head.  When I first decided to turn my Druid into a Bear and be the one to take the initial beating, trying to find a website that gave me a set plan or path to walk down simply was hard to track down.  If this is the kind of situation you as a reader are in, well, keep looking.  This is the world according to Twizz.

I’m going to try my best not to rant and rage over pixels on a screen.  I hate the people that do.  Yeah, we all want our little piece of the WoW pie in some way or another but there is no reason to take this game TOO seriously.  Sure, the majority of the WoW population doesn’t. But there’s that handful of people that take it to the extreme and since they decide to shit their pants, we all have to wear diapers now.

So Blizz has decided to grace us with a few new upcoming features and dungeons that I’m excited about!  We have the “looking for guild” system, the “Call to Arms” feature, and of course the ZA & ZG re-releases.  There’s a lot more going on, but those are the things that I’m looking forward to the most.  It seems to me that when Cataclysm was released, it really brought guilds together.  It seemed especially towards the end of WOTLK that a guild name was just something to have below your characters head.  Nothing really mattered.  Sure there were some tightly knit guilds out there that were made of good friends and so you’d see a fairly familiar guild name run past you as you were emptying out your mailbox.  But I can remember having a few people on my friends lists that had maxed professions or were excellent tanks/healers so I wanted to keep in touch with them.  It seemed like every 2 weeks they would be in a different guild.  When Cataclysm dropped and the guild perks system came into full swing, I noticed that people found a guild and stuck with it whether they liked it or not.  Maybe it was the guild rep/perks that kept them around.  Maybe it was the guild level that afforded them what they needed.  Who knows?  In my personal opinion, a looking for guild system seems a little pointless for anyone who has more than 1 established character on a server.  The people that start playing WoW (more often than not) join because they have friends that talk them into it.  After Blizz has carried this torch for more than 6 years, anyone into computer games has heard of WoW and if they haven’t tried it already, a little peer pressure will do the trick.  Once they break down and either buy the game or sign up for the trial, they’ll join up where their friends are playing.  Their friends are probably in a good guild already, or they may start their own.  I guess what it all boils down to is: How necessary is it to actually have this feature?  The amount of people who go out and play the game that’s had 4 expansions, and play by themselves, are pretty slim.  It just kind of seems like wasted development time.

The “Call to Arms” feature sounds pretty pimp in my opinion.   But then again, I’m a tank.  It’s geared towards me.  I can see the healers getting a little bit of a charge out of it as their number will come up from time to time and they can bask in the glory of being in limited supply.  DPS, sorry.  You’ll continue getting the shaft.  Hopefully you’ll actually have shorter wait times to get into a dungeon.  We can only hope.  However, I’d like to make a point.  Go read the forums and look at all the stupid posts out there.  DPS, you’ve ruined the dungeon finder (well, some of you).  I don’t use it anymore because of the idiots.  Case in point:  I get into a random heroic, say “hello”, blah blah blah.  Right off the bat I have a DPS telling me “Go, pull, go go go.  God I’ve been waiting for 10 seconds in here and we haven’t even done our first pull yet.  What a fail tank”.  Let me drop some knowledge on you son….if you talk shit to me right off the bat, you make me not want to do this anymore and I’ll probably just drop group.  I know I’m a competent tank doing all the right things.  If I drop group because you’re a douchecanoe, what are the odds you will get another good tank who knows what the crap is going on?  Plus, you can go ahead and incorporate another 3-4 minute wait while you put yourself back in LFG and wait for the next tank to hop in.  All of that because you had to go and shoot your mouth off.  Think before you speak.  That’s all I’m saying.  DPS and attitudes have ruined the LFG.  I’m not saying that tanks and healers are off the hook either though.  HOWEVER, who’s the majority? OK, sorry about that little rant.  The Call to Arms feature will be nice and I’m looking forward to it.  Nuff said about that me thinks.

ZA & ZG.  I’m SUPER pumped about this for a number of reasons.  I didn’t start playing WoW until the middle of BC.  So I missed all the “glory days” of Vanilla WoW and 40 man raids etc. etc. etc.  I started my raiding with Karazhan.  From there I moved on to ZA and that was one of my favorite parts of end game BC.  I did a little bit of Gruul’s Lair but never got very far.  By the time I was geared enough for Black Temple, WOTLK was literally days away from release.  I’ve heard a lot of trash talked about how “Blizz is just re-skinning old dungeons because they are too lazy to make new ones.  F them!”.  First of all, that raid back in the day was a blast.  The gear looked awesome, the fights were fun, and there were bonus incentives like the war bear to keep ya going.  Secondly, lets do a little role playing.  Lets say that you have a 10 year old son.  One wonderful summer day you go out and buy him a go-kart.  You then decide to build him this crazy course all in your 1 mile x 1 mile back yard.  He totally rocks it out, invites his friends over, and they just throw down all summer.  Well, the following summer you decide to revamp it a little bit.  You add a bridge where there wasn’t one before.  You re-route it a little bit so the turns are tighter and there’s even a few ramps in there.  After you present it to him, he walks up to you and punches you in the nuts and says “It’s the same course!  All you did was move the road around a little bit and add a bunch of crap!”.  You’d probably be kinda pissed huh?  I’m sure that’s what Blizz is thinking right now.  Why add a whole bunch of new content and then have all the stuff that was developed and tested go to waste.  And lets all face it, once new content comes out, all the old stuff goes out the window whether it’s completed or not.

I’m kind of ticked off a little bit that it’s taken Blizz this long to get all this stuff to us.  However,  it’s given me that little bit of extra time I needed to actually farm bosses for gear and not just try to kill stuff before the next big boss comes out.

Well, that’s it for now.  I hope to put out a blog similar to this once a week.  If people really like what I have to say, I’ll try to do it more.  If they don’t like what I have to say….well….sorry about your luck!
